The Free Range Humans is a brand operated by AVD Affiliates LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States. References to "we", "us", "our", and "The Free Range Humans" throughout these Terms and Conditions refer to AVD Affiliates LLC.

We sell digital products and services — including guides, CV templates, strategy calls, and related materials — primarily to customers located in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Our products relate to employment and lifestyle information about working in the Australian mining industry.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing our website, purchasing any product or service, or using any content we provide, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our website or products following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

4. Purchasing and Payment

All purchases are processed through our third-party payment processor (ThriveCart / Stripe). By making a purchase you agree to their terms of service in addition to ours.

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. We are not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider.

Your order is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

5. Refund Policy

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds once a digital product has been downloaded, accessed, or delivered — except where required by applicable law.

UK and Irish customers: your statutory rights.

If you are located in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland, you have statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and equivalent Irish and EU consumer protection legislation. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by these Terms and Conditions.

Specifically: under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day right to cancel a digital product purchase. However, this right is lost once the digital content has been supplied and you have given your prior express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you will lose your right to cancel. This consent is captured at the point of purchase via checkbox on our checkout page.

If you did not provide this consent at checkout and have not yet accessed the digital content, you retain the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. To exercise this right, contact us at hello@thefreerangehumans.com within 14 days of purchase.

If a digital product is defective or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer law regardless of the above. Please contact us at hello@thefreerangehumans.com and we will resolve the issue promptly.

Services (Strategy Calls)

For 1:1 strategy calls and call packages:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled call will receive a full refund or rescheduled appointment at your choice.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled call are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at our discretion.
No-shows without prior notice are non-refundable.
If we are unable to fulfil a scheduled call for any reason, you will receive a full refund or rescheduled appointment.

CV Services

For CV Reformat and CV Done For You services:

Once work has commenced on your CV, refunds are not available.
If you are not satisfied with the completed work, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will revise the document at no additional charge.
If we are unable to complete the service for any reason, a full refund will be issued.

6. Delivery of Digital Products

Digital products are delivered electronically via email or through our member portal (ThriveCart Learn) immediately upon successful payment. It is your responsibility to provide a valid and accessible email address at checkout.

If you do not receive access to your purchase within 24 hours of payment, please check your spam folder and then contact us at hello@thefreerangehumans.com. We will resolve delivery issues promptly.

Strategy calls are scheduled via our booking system (Calendly). A booking link will be provided upon purchase. Calls are delivered via video conferencing software.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and within our products — including text, graphics, layouts, guides, templates, and all other materials — is the intellectual property of AVD Affiliates LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

When you purchase a digital product, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your own personal purposes only. You may not:

• Reproduce, copy, or distribute any product or part thereof without our written permission

• Share, sell, or transfer your purchase to any third party

• Use our content or products to create competing products or services

• Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding from our materials

Any breach of these intellectual property terms may result in legal action.

8. Affiliate and Commercial Relationships

The Free Range Humans participates in affiliate programmes with third-party companies. This means we may earn a commission if you purchase products or services from a third party following a referral link on our website or in our content.

Current or potential affiliate relationships include but are not limited to: Cailin Mining & Civil, Down Under Centre, and other migration, training, or employment service providers.

Affiliate relationships do not affect the price you pay. We only recommend products and services we genuinely believe are relevant and useful to our audience. All affiliate relationships are disclosed where applicable.

9. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AVD Affiliates LLC excludes all liability for:

UK and Irish customers: nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
